Ephemeral Landscape is a streamed live drawing performance by artist Marta Angelozzi whose practice utilises drawing as an act of mark making in response to urban landscapes and environments. Referencing her experiences of both the topographies of East London and Lisbon, her performance creates painterly lines with liquid chalk to depict a personal map of the two cities on a concrete wall in Lisbon that is simultaneously projected onto walls within the Barbican building.

Ephemeral Landscape is developed from an ongoing research process started in October 2014 in collaboration with Magma Collective. Magma artists, based in London and Lisbon, take city-wide walks using playful surrealist games and online communications to re-orientate their experience of routes and paths.
